What we offer

NOTARIZATION

A notary public is an individual authorized to act as an official witness during the signing of contracts, agreements, and various legal documents.

They have the authority to certify documents as true copies of the original. Notarization refers to the official act performed by a notary. Notaries can also administer oaths, solemn affirmations, and declarations used in affidavits and statutory declarations.

It's important to highlight that for notarization to occur, individuals must physically sign documents in the presence of a notary.

Affidavits

Certainly, an affidavit is a legal document in which an individual makes a series of statements under oath, affirming that these statements are true to the best of their knowledge and belief.

Affidavits are commonly used in court as evidence during legal proceedings. Swearing to the truthfulness of the statements in an affidavit carries the legal weight of an oath and subjects the affiant (the person making the affidavit) to penalties for perjury if the statements are found to be false.

Certified True Copies

In various situations, you might need to submit crucial documents like your passport, birth certificate, ID card, or academic records for applications or as supporting evidence. Instead of providing the original document, a certified true copy (also known as a "notarized copy" or simply a "certified copy") is usually acceptable.

This option prevents you from risking your original documents, which can be expensive and time-consuming to replace. Certified copies are frequently required for academic, employment, and government applications.

To avail of this service, your document must be accessible and visible on a specific internet address or website.

Consent to Travel Letter

Numerous governments, including Canada, have implemented specific regulations for minors under 18 traveling without both parents.

Countries now mandate the presentation of a notarized consent to travel letter as documentary evidence, establishing parental or legal guardian permission for a minor to cross international borders, whether accompanied by an adult or traveling alone.

This requirement is in addition to other legal prerequisites outlined by airlines and official authorities. Please refer below for the form that best suits your particular situation.

Letters of Invitation

Depending on their country of origin, certain foreign nationals intending to visit Canada are required to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa, commonly known as a visitor visa. To apply for this visa, a letter of invitation is often necessary.

This invitation is provided by a Canadian resident who wishes to invite the individual requiring the visitor visa.

Statutory Declarations

A statutory declaration is a written statement of facts that the declarant asserts to be true before signing the document.

Unlike an affidavit, it is not sworn; instead, it is 'declared' to be true and must be witnessed by a designated official such as a justice of the peace, attorney, barrister, solicitor, or notary public.

To the average person, there is little practical difference between an affidavit and a statutory declaration. Regardless of the document type, lying in either is considered an offense.
